Freddie Ansah, DipPFS

Founder & Financial Planner

I’m a financial planner who truly believes in making finance friendly and approachable. With years of experience and a genuine passion for helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. I focus on guiding people in a warm, down-to-earth way. I take pride in being the kind of adviser you can feel comfortable talking to about anything – whether it's your first budget or a complex investment strategy, I'm here to listen and offer clear, personalised advice.

My journey has been a bit international: I spent my early years in Belgium but grew up in London, so I like to think I’ve got a continental perspective with a Londoner’s heart. This mix of cultures gave me a broad outlook on life (and perhaps a fondness for Belgian chocolate), but most importantly it taught me how to connect with people from all walks of life. I’d like to think that experience made me a more well-rounded financial planner – someone who can relate to different backgrounds while still speaking plain English when it comes to money matters.

As long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for personal finance – the kind of enthusiasm most people reserve for sports or music. For me, figuring out budgets, investments or retirement plans is genuinely fun (I know, I'm a bit of a finance nerd). More importantly, I believe that financial education is the gateway to proper financial planning and ultimately to financial independence. That’s why I make it a point to empower my clients with knowledge at every step. When you understand your money, you can make decisions that lead to lasting financial freedom.

I’ve backed up my passion with a solid education. I earned an MSc in Investments (Finance & Economics) from the University of Birmingham, and a First-Class BA Hons in Accounting & Finance from Staffordshire University. Diving deep into finance and economics at university not only gave me technical expertise but also reinforced my analytical approach to solving financial puzzles. Don’t worry – I promise to keep the jargon to a minimum and focus on what really matters to you.

Over the years, I’ve worked across many areas of financial planning – from retirement planning and investments to insurance protection and wealth management. One of my specialisms is cashflow modelling – helping you map out your financial future in a way that’s easy to visualise and adjust as life changes. I take a holistic approach to planning, which means I look at the complete picture of your finances. By making sure all the pieces of your financial puzzle fit together, I help you navigate towards your goals with confidence.

While my day job is all about finance, life isn’t all spreadsheets. When I’m not helping clients, you might find me exploring a new country or hunting for the best local food spots – I’m a bit of a traveller and a foodie at heart. I’m also an avid watch enthusiast (I can talk about timepieces almost as much as I can talk about pensions!). But most important of all, I cherish time with my family. They remind me of why financial planning truly matters – to enjoy life’s moments with the people we love.

For a friendly, no-obligation chat about your finances, please book a meeting with me. I look forward to helping you achieve financial independence and turn your financial goals into reality.
